Kevin & Breanna plus Jake and the bump

Here they are a again. The cutest couple E-V-E-R.  Last year, we did a fun urban style shoot in Downtown San Diego.  It was one of my favorites shoots of all time. You can see it by clicking on "relationships."  It's posted under February 2009.  If I were savvy enough to figure out how to include the link, trust me, I would.

Moving right along.  Quite literally.  Baby Zoey will be making her debut this month.  Can't wait to meet her!  She will have the best, most funnest (I don't care if it's not proper english) parents ever! 

Can't forget to mention Jake.  He is one sweet dog.  And very laid back too.  When we did this first shot of all of them running on the beach, I kept waiting for him to take off and really run, but that never happened.  He was perfectly happy just trotting along.  Maybe he was taking it easy on his pregnant mother.  Very considerate, don't you think?

Oh and how gorgeous is Breanna?!  Just stunning.  She's a natural in front of the camera.

Kevon and Breanna, this was great fun.  I'm so glad to be a part of your lives and I hope Zoey hurries up and gets here so I can take some pictures of her too.  xo

Morris Family | Old Poway Park

On this day we had the whole park to ourselves.  Just me, my camera, two rambunctious boys, one boy in the making and of course, the parents. 

I love when the parents apologize for their kids curious and rambunctious behavior.  I'm guessing that all of our kids have that same, innate behavior when they are let loose in a big open park or even the beach.

It's the curiosity and energy that makes such great pictures.  At least from my perspective.

Shawn + Heidi, Old Town | Maternity

You may remember my good friends Shawn and Heidi from the impromptu beach shoot we did last summer. 

They are now on their way to having their third child.  I'm sort of wondering what color eyes the baby will have.  Everyone in this family has the most amazing and uniquely colored eyes. 

A little note about Heidi, she's in amazing shape.  We recently took a spin class at the gym and if it weren't for her total inspiration, I may not have made it through the class.  Keep a look out, you may even see her jogging in your neighborhood.
